What’s in it for me?
Setting up a Vibes widget with the right chart, domain, groups and time period can take several steps. Previously, if a colleague wanted the same report, they had to build it themselves and match all the settings.
Share this vibe makes it much easier. Once you've configured a widget the way you want it, simply share a link and your colleague can add an identical, fully configured widget to their own Vibes board.
The link shares the widget's settings rather than a snapshot of the data, so the copied widget remains live and works just like any other Vibes widget.
Our helpdesk can also use the same feature to configure a widget for you and send it directly to your Vibes board.
A note about permissions
Sharing a widget doesn't change who can access the underlying data. If the person opening the link doesn't have permission to view the relevant data, the copied widget will be empty.
How do I get it?
Share this vibe is available now to all babblevoice surgeries in Vibes - there's no setup required.
- Open Vibes and go to the board containing the widget you want to share.
- Click the Share this vibe button (the share icon) on the widget.
- The share link will be copied to your clipboard.
- Paste the link into an email or message and send it to your colleague.
- When they open the link, they can choose which of their boards to add the widget to.
- The widget will appear on their board with all the same settings already configured.
